Hello! I am Dayhta ("Day - tuh" / "Data") 😁

Growing up, I had the great advantage of having a father who worked in IT. I remember being able to take the day off of school and go to "Take Your Kid to Work Day" with my dad, watching what he did all day. I would sit in the server room of a security company, playing flash games on a laptop, while my dad configured and patched new servers, troubleshooted outages, or worked directly with users to resolve their issues. My dad was also one of the few IT people for his organization and was in charge of the Cyber Security operations for the companies he worked for. Throughout my youth, my dad exposed me to a lot of IT and Cyber Security concepts that only fueled my curiosity further. Through this exposure and my overwhelming curiosity of learning how things work and their logical flows, I eventually landed a job as a Business Analyst on application support and development teams. My company also offered a lot of growth, so eventually, through a lot of studying and getting to know the team, I was able to get a promotion to the Information Security team.

I spend a lot of my time focusing on DevSecOps concepts, though I am currently studying to get my Practical Junior Penetration Tester certification from TCM Security. I eventually want to expand these foundational concepts into some Red Teaming techniques for some crafty and advanced attacks, such as (but not limited to) container infection and breakouts, Stealthy C2's, AV/EDR Evasion techniques, and file-less malware.

I wanted to create a central repository for my brain dumps, so please enjoy and feel free to reach out if you'd like to contribute. I am not an English major, and I do not take myself that seriously, so prepare for grammatical errors and bad memes 😎Please enjoy and feel free to reach out if you'd like to contribute 😄
